BERD | Who We Are
Basic Education Reform & Development Foundation (BERD) is a non government, non-political, and non-profitable Organization. It was established and registered with the objective to develop and improve education system, provide support for socio-economic change based on community participation at grass root level in Pakistan. The overall economic development is being carried out by NGOs and Government functionaries as there are these areas which have not been touched by the NGOs or development organizations of any kind based on community participation.

The SDGs provide worldwide guidance for addressing the global challenges facing the international community. It is about better protecting the natural foundations of life and our planet everywhere and for everyone, and preserving people’s opportunities to live in dignity and prosperity across generations.

The partnership with the donors working at national level is to be developed for the possible
technical and financial support for the development activities by BERD in NWFP, AJK.

For the development purpose BERD plans to contact with international donors who are working in various developing countries and have a plan to work with NGOs in the rural areas of different countries. These international donors will be contacted for development of partnership to undertake development interventions.
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), World Food Programme, ILO, FAO, UNESCO and all the related United Nations Development Organization will be contact with our development programmes to create a close liaison for development programmes.
